Top goalie prospect for the Philadelphia Flyers reportedly ghosts team
Philadelphia Flyers' top goalie prospect Aleksei Kolosov reportedly abandoned his team, citing oversleeping and missing his flight for not attending camp.
Aleksei Kolosov was scheduled to join the Flyers for their annual development camp in North America, held from July 2 to July 6. He missed his flight, citing oversleeping as the reason. Reports indicate he has since requested to terminate his NHL contract, expressing a desire to sever ties with the Flyers.
«Aleksei Kolosov is the strangest guy. Sign a rookie contract to run home in a couple of months and refuse to return to the location Philadelphia is, of course, the upside of infantilism,» wrote Bogun. «I heard that the goalkeeper has already asked the management of Minsk to do everything to help solve the issue of termination of the contract in the NHL. The funny thing is that he was supposed to fly to Pennsylvania on June 20, according to the tickets purchased by the Flyers, but 'completely by chance' overslept the flight and stayed in Belarus.
With less than two months until players are set to report to training camp, the likelihood of Kolosov returning to the Flyers seems increasingly bleak, particularly as he has been spotted training with Dinamo-Minsk in Russia.
