The Philadelphia Flyers have Stanley Cup Playoff hopes in 2024/25, and now it appears as though Morgan Frost may not be a part of those plans anymore.

With a 9-10-2 record in the 21 games they've played this season, the Philadelphia Flyers find themselves right in the mix for a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs at the quarter mark of the season.
However, they've still got plenty of steps to take to become genuine contenders, and throughout this season, that may mean General Manager Danny Briere needs to take a risk or shakeup this talented young roster.
For some time now, young forward Morgan Frost has been at the centre of a potential trade to shake things up, and now, according to The Fourth Period, those conversations continue.
Flyers GM Danny Briere has been engaged in trade talks involving Frost for the last two years and this season may finally be the time to pull the trigger on a move.
In the report from The Fourth Period, several teams were noted as potential landing spots for the 25-year old, including the Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Chicago Blackhawks, who were linked to Frost by top Insider Elliotte Friedman.
At this point, TFP haven't clarified the type of deal that would draw Frost out of Philadelphia, whether it be part of a blockbuster deal to bring in a bigger name or whether the team will look for an asset or two in return for Frost.
It is also unclear what type of trade the Flyers prefer to make involving Frost, who could be packaged in a larger deal or shipped out individually for another player or draft picks.

Ultimately, the 25-year old has tallied 46 and 41 points over the past two years, and while he may never be a star in the NHL, he's certainly got talent, and if the team do indeed move on from him, there should be plenty of suitors lining up to land the former first-round draft pick.
