Brady Tkachuk's Potential Departure from Ottawa Senators: Trade Talks Heating Up

Brady Tkachuk became the youngest captain in the history of the Ottawa Senators but it seems like his tenure as captain might be nearing its conclusion.

NHL expert Jeremy Rutherford has mentioned that there are talks about trading Tkachuk, indicating a change for the Senators and their leader. Since Tkachuk became captain, the Senators have not made it to the playoffs. It appears that Brady Tkachuk, son of Keith Tkachuk and Matthew Tkachuk's brother might be moving on.

It's no surprise that the St. Louis Blues are being mentioned as a contender. Given their history of bringing in players in their mid 20s during rebuilding phases, especially since Brady is the son of Blues icon Keith Tkachuk.

It sounds like there is real smoke behind a Brady Tkachuk trade this off-season, with the St. Louis Blues being listed as a potential fit.
