Many Oilers fans were upset by the defeat, which resulted in a scuffle, outside the arena and led to arrests by law enforcement.
Since the playoffs started, it seems that whenever the Oilers are playing, tensions rise at the arena or at the team's watch party. It's unfortunate to see such violence as it is completely unnecessary. Even if spirits run high during games, it's no reason to lash out on fellow fans who just want to have a good time watching the game.
The series is all square, at 1-1. The competition is heating up as the Oilers and the Stars head to Edmonton, for games 3 and 4. It looks like we'll need a few games to decide the victor. Lets just hope things stay civil in Edmonton without any altercations to report on.
