One of the 59 players has caught former Montreal Canadiens legend P.K Subban's attention. Subban, with over 400 games, 63 goals, and 215 assists under his belt as a Hab, praised Hutson highly.
From the man who was no slouch in the NHL himself, Subban, this is high praise indeed. Subban scored 467 points in 834 career games with 115 goals and 352 assists, which was just over a point per game average.
Hutson, who completed two tremendously successful seasons at the University of Boston in the Hockey East conference, signed his entry-level contract this past season. Hutson put up 97 points in 77 games played, including 30 goals and 67 assists, while playing a lot of minutes despite tough opposition.
Receiving this recognition from someone as respected as Subban must mean a lot to Hutson and the supporters, as he is regarded as the best defensive prospect in the history of the Montreal Canadiens and is expected to patrol the blue line for the Habs for many years to come.
