A long-time member of the Montreal Canadiens organization has stunned the hockey world with his retirement announcement.
Cedric Montminy, captain of the Trois-Rivières Lions in the ECHL, has officially announced his retirement from professional hockey. The Canadiens' ECHL affiliate now faces the challenge of finding a replacement for Montminy.
