Insider Renaud Lavoie talked extensively about the Seattle Kraken in his segment on JiC on TVA Sports last night and how they disrespected Martin St. Louis.

Halloween Night at the Bell Centre wasn't exactly the eerie party the Canadiens had in mind. In Tuesday's 8-2 victory over the Canadiens, the Seattle Kraken dominated from the start, taking an early 4-0 lead and never looking back.
Lavoie claimed that Dan Bylsma, the head coach of the Seattle Kraken, made an inappropriate gesture toward Martin St-Louis and the Montreal Canadiens. Lavoie went so far as to call it a complete and utter cheap shot.

Was the Seattle Kraken's Actions to the Montreal Canadiens Inappropriate?

Here's what Renaud Lavoie had to say in his statement:
"Something went unnoticed that really stunned me. From Dan Bylsma, no less, who won the Stanley Cup in 2009, who's been a professional for a long time, and who played in the National League for years."

"You really need to put Montour, Jared McCann, and Chandler Stephenson on the ice? Jaden Schwartz too? You really need to make the Canadiens look bad to that extent? Do you really need that goal? It's 6-1! I don't know what more you want!"

- Renaud Lavoie

He makes reference to Dan Bylsma's decision to use his best players on the power play even though his team was already ahead 6-1 against the Canadiens. The Montreal Canadiens' injury was made worse by the fact that it was late in the game and gave defenseman Brandon Montour the opportunity to finish his hat trick.
In response to his colleague, Jean-Charles Lajoie implied that he thinks Bylsma wouldn't have behaved in the same manner against a divisional rival, a team he plays against more frequently.
Even the Montreal Canadiens and the Kraken's supporting players, who might have had a unique opportunity and some unanticipated time on the power play, are treated disrespectfully, according to Lavoie.
"I apologize for the expression.. but it's cheap! It's really cheap! There's five minutes left, and the Canadiens aren't coming back in this game. If I were Shane Wright and you're not putting me on the ice.. Dan Bylsma, is that how he behaves?! I hope someone remembers this."

- Renaud Lavoie
Josh Anderson scored his second goal of the season late in Tuesday's game, and Cole Caufield continued to be hot, scoring his NHL-high ninth goal of the season in the first period. A good sign for the Canadiens at least.
Beginning on Thursday in Washington and ending on Saturday in Pittsburgh, the Canadiens will travel for the first time this season for multiple games. The time of both games is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
