Legendary habs goaltender Carey Price recently revealed some ear bending news during his Montreal Canadiens signing session.

Fans of the Montreal Canadiens have a lot to cheer about despite Patrik Laine's injury and Ivan Demidov's difficult circumstances in the KHL. The young Jakub Dobes of the Laval Rocket is playing well in between the pipes in the AHL. But there's no denying that Jacob Fowler is one of the most intriguing goalies in the prospect pool.
Fowler participated in his first NCAA season with Boston College the last year. He broke the NCAA record for the most wins by a freshman in a season and was named to the Hockey East First Team All-Star and the AHCA First Team All-American.
Jacob Fowler placed in the top 10 nationally, with a 32-6-1 record and a .822 winning percentage, 926 save percentage, and 2.14 goals against average.
Many people think he might be the best goalie the Canadiens have drafted since Carey Price.
Price is essentially retired, however he is still bound by his contract with Montreal. Though he no longer plays hockey due to knee injuries, he occasionally travels back to Montreal for team activities.
During a signing session at the Bois-de-Boulogne Sports Complex, Price briefly discussed his future with the Habs organization.

Price made a major announcement, saying that the management of the Habs and Kent Hughes had questioned him about whether he would be interested in working as a coach or in player development for the team:
"They asked me if a coaching position or a role in player development might interest me. Maybe eventually, but for now, I have young kids. I want to make sure I'm with them, that's important to me. But when the time is right, I would definitely be interested in that kind of role."

Price may join the Habs' front office after his current contract expires, but he still has two seasons left on it.
Additionally, he demonstrated his continued interest in the team by sharing his thoughts on the Montreal rebuild:
"It's important to believe in the process; there are a lot of young players learning to be professionals and how to conduct themselves both on the ice and in the community. You have to make sure not to be complacent but rather work hard and have a winning attitude."

It would be beneficial for Price to teach Fowler a few things in the future. With his experience and skill, there's no denying that the number 31 could be very important to the Canadiens' rebuild. Right now, it appears to be his best chance to see his name on the Stanley Cup.
