In one of the more recent rumors floating around the league, Christian Dvorak of the Montreal Canadiens is seen being traded to the Nashville Predators.

The latest rumored trade scenario would see the Montreal Canadiens dealing forward Christian Dvorak and a third-round draft pick in exchange for forward Jusso Parssinen, defenseman Jeremy Lauzon, and a second-round pick from the Nashville Predators.
Should such a deal be made, it may be one of those rare true mutually benefiting deals between teams to strengthen their respective rosters with experience and a mix of youth.
Adding Jusso Parssinen and Jeremy Lauzon to the Canadiens might ultimately give them depth and some lineup versatility.
A big-bodied young forward, Parssinen has shown flashes of offense with the Predators.
Standing at 6'3", he brings a much-needed physical presence that complements the developing core of young forwards the Canadiens currently have.
He has shown the ability to control the puck and make plays, making him a potential fit within the Canadiens' top nine forwards.
Parssinen's ceiling may permit Montreal to groom him into a reliable middle-six contributor.
Jeremy Lauzon would provide the Canadiens with a hard, rugged, stay-at-home defenseman with penalty-killing prowess.
Physicality shouldn't be much of an issue with Lauzon, who could help stabilize a Canadiens blue line and provide the kind of grit that has sorely been lacking against harder-nosed opponents.
Having had experience with Nashville's defensive systems, he would become a valuable addition to the Habs back end and one coach Martin St. Louis would be able to rely upon regularly on the back end.
The addition of Christian Dvorak would add depth and versatility up front for the Predators.
Dvorak has shown he can be a capable center in a number of roles, from the man advantage to the kill.
He would help cure some of what has ailed Nashville in terms of finding the back of the net, as he can win draws and create chances to score.
In that sense, his overall balanced style may be what the Predators need in the top six, particularly on lines with playmakers like Filip Forsberg, where he might provide a little more consistency to their forward depth.
Along with Dvorak's immediate impact, Nashville would retain a third-round pick as the Predators get another asset in the draft to shape their future.
In Montreal's mind, though, they would be getting a higher second-round pick to add to their rebuild.
This deal would satisfy Montreal's needs of adding depth on defense and the potential for some forward growth, while Nashville gets a quality, versatile forward in Dvorak who can help drive the offense.
