Heartbreaking news has hit Red Wings' forward Vladimir Tarasenko, as it was revealed that his father, Andrei, has passed away at the age of 56.

The passing of Andrei Tarasenko, a former Russian league scoring champion and 1994 Winter Olympian, is devastating news for his son Vladimir. This comes just after Vladimir secured a new contract with the Detroit Red Wings and celebrated a Stanley Cup win with the Florida Panthers.
