NHL veteran Joe Pavelski announces a massive decision about his future
Following an impressive 18-year career and a disappointing playoff finish, Joe Pavelski has now made an official decision about his remarkable career.
Throughout his NHL career that began with the San Jose Sharks selecting him in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Draft, Joe Pavelski has been known for his unwavering consistency.
After 18 remarkable seasons with the San Jose Sharks and, most recently, the Dallas Stars, the veteran has officially decided to retire from professional hockey.
BREAKING: Joe Pavelski on NHL Morning Skate tells @LaughlinSXM that he will not be returning to playing hockey in the #NHL and will hang up the skates after 1,332 career regular season games and 201 playoff games.
During his career, Pavelski played in 1,332 games, scoring an impressive 476 goals and totaling 1,068 points. However, he has decided to retire following several disappointing playoff runs that fell short of the Stanley Cup.
