A fresh interview with Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak has brought to light his major regret from the 2024 NHL season.

In a recent segment on Elliotte Friedman's 32 Thoughts Podcast, David Pastrnak reflected on the Bruins' performance and their disappointing exit from the playoffs. In the interview, David Pastrnak expressed his frustration over not reaching a decisive Game 7 against the Florida Panthers, who ultimately won the Stanley Cup.
Pastrnak admitted,
Pastrnak has one regret from last season: that the Bruins did not get to a «one-shot Game 7» against Florida, but admitted the Panthers were deeper and better than Boston.

Despite this setback, Pastrnak highlighted a major achievement of the season: proving critics wrong by advancing past the Toronto Maple Leafs, a team considered stronger on paper.
He remarked,
We proved a lot of people wrong, last year we were not even supposed to make the playoffs. We beat a better team on paper (Toronto).
As the new NHL season approaches, Pastrnak and the Bruins are gearing up for a redemption tour, eager to secure their first Stanley Cup since 2011 and seek revenge against the Florida Panthers.
