The trade between the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets involving Jack Roslovic has been finalized after the Rangers were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

In the middle of the 2023-24 season, the New York Rangers acquired Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets in hopes of maximizing his potential by placing him with better suited linemates.
FULL TRADE:

To #CBJ-
2026 conditional 4th round pick (becomes a 3rd if New York makes the Stanley Cup final this season)

To New York Rangers-
Jack Roslovic

The conditions for the Rangers pick hinge on their performance in reaching or not reaching the Stanley Cup Finals, confirming that it is their fourth round pick in 2026 that will be transferred.
Draft condition update:

The 2026 4th round pick #NYR sent to #CBJ in the Jack Roslovic trade will NOT upgrade to a 2026 3rd round pick.

Roslovic showed promise during his time with the Rangers, tallying eight points in 19 regular season games and demonstrating improvement in the playoffs with eight points scored in 16 games.
The Rangers acquisition of Roslovic didn't push them to the Stanley Cup Finals as they were knocked out by the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
