The Winnipeg Jets announced today the acquisition of defenseman Dylan Coghlan from the Carolina Hurricanes.

According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, Dylan Coghlan has reportedly been traded from the Carolina Hurricanes to the Winnipeg Jets.
Believe Winnipeg will be acquiring D Dylan Coghlan from Carolina, too

RFA with a big shot
As the Carolina Hurricanes aim for a deep playoff run, they no longer have room for young players like Dylan Coghlan. He will receive a much larger and well-deserved opportunity with the Winnipeg Jets, who are seeking to avenge their first-round loss from last season.

Trade details out shortly
Serving as the seventh defenseman, Coghlan's development may have stalled, but the Carolina Hurricanes are providing him with a new opportunity to excel in Winnipeg. Time will tell if the fit between Dylan Coghlan and the Winnipeg Jets proves successful.
We will update this story as more details come out.
