Legendary hockey coach Mike Sertich sadly passes away at 77
Mike Sertich, the revered coach who led the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team to multiple titles, has sadly passed away at the age of 77.
Sertich's extensive career included notable achievements with UMD, Michigan Tech, and the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team.
Mike Sertich's influence on UMD hockey is undeniable. Serving as head coach from 1982 to 2000, Sertich guided the Bulldogs to their three championships in 1984, 1985, and 1993.
