The Golden Knights tied the second-longest home winning streak in franchise history by shutting out the Flames to win seven straight at home. The only longer run was 8-0-0 in 2017-18. The Golden Knights' victory on Monday made them the first team since the Bruins' 14-0-0 run in 2022-2023 to start the season with a seven-game home winning streak, and the tenth team in the previous 20 years to do so.
During Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Kings, Dorofeyev scored two goals, one of which came on the power play.
Because Dorofeyev scored the game's final two goals, the score appeared somewhat more respectable than the Golden Knights' performance. In his last five games, the 24-year-old winger has scored three goals. He has six goals, nine points, 32 shots on goal, and a plus-3 rating in 11 games this season. In addition to playing on the power play, where he has scored three of his six goals, Dorofeyev has maintained a second-line position.
Even though he doesn't play much, he should be rostered in most fantasy formats as a reliable scorer if he can continue to play those roles. Can the Golden Knights keep their home winning streak alive without Stone?
