Max Domi has expressed uncertainty regarding his future with the Leafs, a sentiment he shared while participating in a walk for juvenile diabetes research.

As a type 1 diabetic himself, Domi has long been involved in charitable and community efforts related to the cause. During the event, he offered insights into his NHL future and shared his thoughts on the Leafs' new head coach, Craig Berube.
Max Domi inspires young fans participating in this morning's Walk for Juvenile Diabetes Research at Seton Park. Max has played with Type 1 his entire career. Told us he'd be pumped to be on a Craig Berube-coached team - they've spoken already - but that depends on contract talks.
Domi praised Berube, highlighting the coach's dedication to his role. While such praise might suggest a commitment to staying in Toronto, Domi's comments also raised concerns among some fans.
"All the guys in the locker room, the staff, they're going to benefit from having him around every single day. There's a presence around him, he means business. Whether I'm here or not, he's exactly what this team needs to take the next step. I know my agent has been talking to Treliving, though I have to keep that discussion in-house," Domi said. "Whatever happens will happen, but I've still enjoyed every second as a Leaf. I'd love to come back, it's a special organization, a special group of guys."

Below, you can find the complete account of Domi's day spent advocating for pediatric diabetes support.
To the Max, with Domi, Berube and outlook for a new contract as Max takes part in today's Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk:
Domi made significant contributions to the Maple Leafs this season, particularly in the latter half and during the playoffs. With 9 goals and 47 points in 80 regular-season games, followed by four points in the playoffs, he proved himself as a valuable asset to the team. Additionally, his presence brought character and grit to the forward core, qualities that became increasingly apparent over the course of the year. Given his strong fit in Toronto, it is hoped that the team can reach a favorable agreement with him.
