Pittsburgh Penguins sign young defenseman Jack St. Ivany
It was announced today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have inked defenseman Jack St. Ivany to a three-year extension by GM Kyle Dubas.
This year the Pittsburgh Penguins called upon defenseman Jack St. Ivany 14 times as they had the youngster make his NHL debut.
Just now, it was announced that the Penguins have signed St. Ivany to a three-year extension worth a league minimum of $775,000.
The Penguins have re-signed defenseman Jack St. Ivany to a three-year contract.
The contract runs through the 2026.27 season and carries an average annual value of $775,000 at the NHL level.
St. Ivany played the majority of his year with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL scoring 15 points in 54 games. This was his second pro season after graduating from Boston College in 2022.
As of now, the Penguins have four NHL defensemen signed to contracts and St. Ivany certainly could break out next year. He will look to further establish himself in the NHL and hopefully become an everyday defenseman for the Penguins.
