Patrik Laine, star forward for the Montreal Canadiens, gave a significant update on his recuperation from a knee injury.

Just minutes into his second preseason game with the Montreal Canadiens, Patrik Laine sustained another permanent injury after at last being given a new beginning in the National Hockey League.
Fans and the organization were bracing for the worst. Laine, however, decided against having surgery. Laine is anticipated to return in two to three months.
Laine appears to be doing well nearly a month after the incident. He stays in touch with the team and keeps his eyes on the bright side. Laine himself gave his Instagram followers a brief update earlier today, and fans were able to see glimmers of his recuperation on social media.
He shared a photo of himself at the Bell Center during the pregame ceremony for the Montreal Canadiens' home opener, mentioning in the caption that his knee is still sore, but his attire looks fresh.

Montreal Canadiens fans are thrilled to see him doing well and are waiting for his speedy recovery.
Laine's fiancée, Jordan Leigh also shared some exciting news on her social media.
The young couple have finally moved into their new house and they are now officially settled in.
Since the August trade between the Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets, the couple had been residing in an Airbnb in Montreal; however, they now have a place to call home.

The Canadiens were hoping that Laine would play a significant offensive role for the team this season, so his injury was a devastating blow. If all goes well, Laine should be ready to play in December or January. We can't wait to see what the future in Montreal has in store for him and Jordan. He appears to be very driven to succeed here, and now he can properly recover in his own home.
