Two-time Stanley Cup winner Vladimir Tarasenko has agreed to a two-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings have finally secured a top-six forward in NHL free agency, acquiring Russian goal scorer Vladimir Tarasenko on a two-year, $9.4 million contract, as announced by the team late in the afternoon.

Fresh off a Stanley Cup victory with the Florida Panthers, where he was traded in March from the Ottawa Senators, Tarasenko is now a two-time champion, having previously won with the St. Louis Blues. He aims to secure a third ring with the Red Wings.
