It appears Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark will be moving this summer, reportedly agreeing to waive his no-trade clause to join the Ottawa Senators.

Bruins reporter Dominic Tiano broke the news this afternoon. However, there are no indications that a trade is imminent. The Bruins' goaltender has been a frequent subject of trade rumors this season, with the team leaning towards Jeremy Swayman for the future. They previously attempted to trade him to the LA Kings at the trade deadline, but he invoked his trade protection to block the deal.

Tiano also reports that there is currently no finalized deal in place for Ullmark. This is expected, as the 30-year-old cannot officially sign with the Senators until July 1st. It's possible that the two teams have a handshake agreement for a sign-and-trade once free agency begins.
Dom (@dominictiano) reports that Ullmark has officially waived his NTC for the Senators.

He also specifies that no trade or extension has been reached yet.

This aligns with reports from other NHL insiders. According to David Pagnotta, Ullmark has indeed agreed to waive his no-trade clause to join the Ottawa Senators, leaving only formalities to be settled at this stage.
It's been an active SCF week of news & chatter across the NHL. Me & @DennisTFP touch on next steps for #GoKingsGo, more info on the #NHLBruins trying to trade Linus Ullmark & Ottawa's pursuit, what the #Flames have next, #LetsGoFlyers & #GoSensGo talk, goalie market and more.

Ullmark had a strong season for the Bruins with a .915 save percentage and a 2.57 goals-against average, slightly below his career averages. If he maintains this level of performance next season, the Senators could be well-positioned to make a playoff run.
